Full-Time Instructional Assistant - Special Education (Elementary)

PS Academy Arizona is currently hiring Full-Time Instructional Assistants at our brand-new Gilbert campus.

We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of students with autism and other exceptionalities. You must have a passion for working with students who think and learn differently!

Duties may include the following:

· Assist in the monitoring and instruction of elementary special education students in areas, such as math, language arts, science, social skills and daily living.

· Help guide independent work, or enrichment work set up by the classroom teacher.

· Participate in in-service training programs as scheduled.

· Assist with student supervision in all school settings

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or teacher

Requirements are: * College degree preferred or equivalent experience * Minimum one-year experience working with students with special needs. * Have an IVP class Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain one.
