Full-Time Dog Walker

Hello!

Busy and reputable Manhattan-based dog walking company is seeking new full-time team members.

We are looking for:

-People who love dogs and are sensitive to their needs. Professional experience with dogs, though a big plus, is not a requirement, but a love and passion for dogs IS, as well as a curiosity to learn more about them and their behavior.

-Open availability Monday-Friday between the hours of approximately 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. This is not the best fit for a full-time student or someone with limited weekday availability.

-Team players. This job involves a lot of adapting to last-minute changes and working together as a team.

-Willingness to work outside in ALL types of weather. This job is very physically demanding. You will be walking 6-8 hours a day nonstop in all types of weather. While this job involves playing with dogs, it is not all sunshine and daisies. Please do not apply if you can not see yourself working in all elements.

-Someone who is looking to commit to a full-time position with us for at least one year, ideally more. Most people on our team stay for many years. This is a great job opportunity for comedians, musicians, writers, or anyone who needs evenings open and wants a non-office type of day job.

Pay starts at $16.50/hour. There are overnight dog-sitting opportunities as well that will increase your income.
