Overview: This position is responsible for providing full-stack application development for various teams throughout the organization. The custom solutions and reporting systems serve the operational and strategic needs of the business. The ideal candidate should have experience in delivering advanced solutions for multi-tiered web applications and business intelligence environments. The position will require analyzing user requirements and effectively designing and developing software solutions that reflect the business needs. Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, document, and validate software requirements
  • Design, develop, maintain and test data-driven web applications for various teams and disciplines
  • Provide solutions for integrating with other enterprise systems and third-party products
  • Design, develop, maintain and test business intelligence solutions for the orgiainzation
  • Maintain and refactor existing code by analyzing and identifying areas for modification/improvement.
  • Design and implement data visualization and reporting
  • Support applications by monitoring, identifying, and fixing bugs and software defects
  • Coach and mentor other developers
Qualifications: Required Experience and Education:

  • A minimum of 8 years of software development experience
  • A minimum of 5 years developing web applications
  • A minimum of 5 years developing on the Microsoft technology stack
  • A minimum of 5 years working with SQL Server, relational databases, data modeling and T-SQL
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with ASP.NET/C# MVC
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft BI Technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Critical Thinker

  • Proven ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming using C#
  • Thorough knowledge of web technologies; HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, REST, JSON, ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with Entity Framework or other ORMs
  • In-depth knowledge of T-SQL (views, functions, triggers, stored procedures) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Experience with modeling transactional systems (OLTP) and OLAP
  • Development Experience in a business intelligence environment; SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
  • Strong proficiency with writing reports and creating visualizations
  • Experience with gathering and implementing requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members
  • Desire to stay on top of the latest technologies and continuously learn new languages, platforms, and skills
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Azure and Power BI experience is a plus
