Job Description

We are a growing Bookkeeping/Tax Firm on Mare Island in process of hiring PT/FT employees with experience in Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online.

Daily tasks

  • Reconcile and balance accounts.
  • Invoices and payments for vendors and customers.
  • Compiles reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, and other items pertinent to the operation of agency business.
  • Maintain financial records and files.
  • Generate electronic spreadsheet reports as requested.
  • Maintains cash receipts.
  • Prepares bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Sales Tax filing and 1099's
  • Assists with operations as requested.
  • Tax Preparation 1040, Corps, LLC

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • High level of computer skills including use of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly effective organization and follow up habits
