Bookkeeper - Job Duties/Responsibilities

Job Description: The primary role for the Bookkeeper is to document and implement accounting practices that support the continued growth of a small local company, by keeping track and accurately documenting all aspects of financials. As the bookkeeper to Accessories and WAC Upfitters you will be responsible for all bookkeeping responsibilities. All financial and management reports will be due to the owners no later then the 20th of the month for the previous month, and must be able to generate all other reports , upon special request as directed from the owners or upper management.

Duties:

Must have detailed knowledge of Quickbooks, data entry and reports

Strong Communication skills both verbal and written

Be able to answer Financial questions both internal and external customers, peers and owners, answer phones and relay messages in an accurate and timely fashion.

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet moving deadlines

Ability to maintain confidentiality of foundation of business and remain positive and/or neutral on subject matters of importance

Set up and maintain filing systems both manually and electronically

Be able to make adjusting entries to accommodate two businesses

Run Errands, such as banking deposits or delivery of vehicles if requested

Attend Staff/Team meetings and training sessions as requested

Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including the ability to:

Work cooperatively and effectively with other staff, community based organization representatives and other professionals.

Use Discretion to make and implement decisions independently and part of a team

Treat all people with dignity and respectful attitude

Treat all clients with absolute confidentiality

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Banking and Credit Card Reconciliation

Tax Payments and Report preparation for Accountant

Generate and Maintain monthly Financial reports

must be able to calculate and communicate the company's breakeven point.

Work with peers to make sure that we are getting the best rates from Vendors and must work with the Banker to ensure the best rates are available when changes are needed

Payroll, 401k, and Benefit responsibilities

Maintain and Calculate Bonus Program for Sales Team

Maintain and work with vendors on Benefits provided to the employees such as 401k, Health, Dental and Paid Time off

Weekly generation of Checks to Vendors

Bi-Weekly payroll checks to Employees

Payment of Payroll and Sales Taxes

Overseeing Sales Team in regards to Invoicing

Generation of electronic Statements on the 20th and hard mailed statements on the last day of the month.

Calling and Maintaining Past Due Accounts

Must be detailed oriented and independent problem solver

Pay: Pay will be Salary, which will be based on experience both in the work place and education. There will be a 90 day probation period with eligibility of benefits of 401k, Health, Dental and AFLAC available after the probationary period.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
