FT - Lead Pharmacy Technician

An independent pharmacy with a strong focus on patient care and adherence. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented people to join our staff. We are hiring for a Full Time - Lead Pharmacy technician for our store in Winter Haven, FL location. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

• REQUIRED - Pharmacy experience and experience in Billing
  
• REQUIRED - Applicant must have a valid Pharmacy Tech license.
• Preferred - Experience Prior Authorization, Inventory, Refill Authorization
• At least 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE

Essential Functions:

• The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, have a customer friendly attitude, be highly motivated to provide outstanding customer service, be proactive in assisting patients.

* Demonstrate friendliness and greet every customer and potential customer as a new member of the family.*Accurately and promptly fills prescriptions to be checked by a Pharmacist.

• Complies with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies regarding the operation of the pharmacy.

• Remind customers about their refills.

• Be cross trained in all aspects of the pharmacy.

• Investigate and respond to customer service issues and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

• Send appropriate communication to enhance customer relations.

• Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.

Skills:

• Must have basic math skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, have a customer friendly attitude, be highly motivated to provide outstanding customer service, be proactive in assisting patients.
• Comfortable using pharmacy systems to obtain Patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Demonstrate friendliness and greet every customer and potential customer as a new member of the family.
• Practice and promote teamwork at all times and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, self-disciplined.
• Able to use computer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (bilingual preferred).
• Preferred RX 30 experience

Environment:

This position is subject to repeated hours performing repetitive data entry tasks and phone calls.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a valid Pharmacy Tech license; Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
