Frozen Food Packaging Operator

What You Will Do:

At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the Frozen Food Packaging Operator is responsible for packing finished frozen product, which includes direct and indirect contact with food.

• Completes necessary paperwork.
• Load frozen ingredients into small hoppers
• Operates packing machine, band sealer, and taping machines
• Bag product into pouches; seal pouches with band sealer
• Pack pouches into master case (cardboard box)
• Tape boxes
• Stage product onto pallet and place in FG Freezer
• Maintain a clean work environment; performing sanitation duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to maintain safe work environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Dependable with attendance
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Previous manufacturing or production line experience in a food environment desired.
• Ability to communicate in English; must be able to read production paperwork, which is provided in English.

Work Environment:

All work is performed in an indoor warehouse. Employees can expect to:

• Handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
• Walk, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear
• Follow all Food Safety protocols, which include wearing required PPE
• While performing the duties of this position; employees may be exposed to ingredients that may contain allergens and extreme temperatures (coolers and freezers, outdoor temperatures).

Shifts Available:

Mid Shift: 2:00 - 10:30 PM

Night Shift 10:00 PM- 6:30 AM

Part Time Shifts: 2:00 PM to 6: PM or 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM

10:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 2:00 AM to 6:30 AM

Normal work schedules are Monday - Friday, however extended hours, weekends, and overtime may occasionally be necessary.
