Position Summary:The Frontline Coordinator is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company's RCE philosophy. This role is a position that requires work exposure in multiple areas in our refrigerated production environment. The Frontline Coordinator supports the coaching and training of team members on safety, quality and production standards. This position is also responsible for the tracking of production metrics during the course of the production runs and communicating back to the line team to support achievement of manufacturing key performance indicators.
What you will Do:
  • Follows & enforces GMP/PPE, Safety guidelines
  • Follows & maintains HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes
  • Communicate (verbally & in writing) to complete downtime reporting and hourly production rates & BPM (bowls per minute)
  • Oversee and maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Complete daily schedule
  • Lead/Coach/Train/Delegate Tasks to team members
  • Maintain yield standards
  • Coordination of staffing of line(s), breaks, lunches and communicates to supervisor
  • Communicate and educate line associates on good product and quality
  • Complete quality verification of bowl and case label (top & bottom of labels)
  • Completes product change over tasks
  • Verifies product meets quality standards for size and color without having foreign objects or defects
  • Four equipment related skills for operators: Ability to detect abnormalities. Ability to correct abnormalities and restore functioning. Ability to set optimum equipment conditions. Ability to maintain optimal equipment conditions
  • Able to understand and explain to associates the definition of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Comply with SQF Regulatory Requirements
  • Facilitate basic machine troubleshooting/inspections for sealing equipment, case & bowl label applications, case erectors & taping equipment
  • Oversee machine and condiment set-up and operation (sealing equipment & label applicator
  • Oversees product rotation (FIFO) & product availability
  • Able to understand and explain to associates how to use the Vorne Efficiency Tracking System

What you will Need:
  • GED/High School Diploma
  • Reading, Writing, Speaking English
  • Comprehension of basic math
  • 6 Months to 2 Years related experience or 6 Months on the job training
  • Proficient in computer skills/Software knowledge (RPDMS)
  • Proficient in Time Management skills
  • Knowledgeable in rest and meal breaks (State Laws)
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment
  • Able to work flexible schedule
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Team player-able to work on a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to understand plant KPI's (production, quality & safety)

Physical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements. The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
