Front Office Coordinator
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Front Office Coordinator for a new pain practice in Mesa. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude despite being in a challenging role.
Candidate must have excellent written and spoken communication skills. This position requires excellent organizational and computer skills as well as the ability to keep up with a high-volume practice.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcome Patients
- Check patient in and out
- Answer incoming calls and respond to message
- Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Discuss and explain copays, and coinsurance, and deductibles
- Collect copays/balances
- Coordinate referrals and obtain surgery authorizations
- Scan, fax and file documents
- Encourage communication between team and patients
- Ensure clinic is ready for patient care
- Responsible for pre-collection of balances and patient balances collections
- Balance all collections daily and prepare reports and deposits
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Oversee and maximize Providers’ schedules
- Oversee and ensure quality of patient care and satisfaction
- Support Provider by making sure his/her time is efficient and streamlined in clinic
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations
- Assist with ordering office and medical supplies
- Assist with office inventory
- Handle disruptions to business quickly and with strong communication
Qualified candidates will have following:
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Practice Management and EMR experience required
- Spanish fluency (preferred)
