Job Description
Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor Reports to: Sales and Service Manager, General Manager FLSA Status: Part-time Non-Exempt Summary: Manages assigned shift(s) including supervision of front desk employees, maintenance of front desk environment and interaction with students and parents. Performs as expert on all levels of the GSS curriculum and Front Desk procedures. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of GSS management policies and practices. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Provides leadership, discipline, and constructive feedback to front desk representatives to ensure quality delivery of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum and Golden Experiences.
  • Conducts daily pre-shifts meetings, and prepares the desk for shifts.
  • Conducts periodic evaluations of front desk representatives.
  • Interacts with families. Acts as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Completes and reviews daily reports to ensure front desk tasks are being completed accurately and efficiently. Ensures smooth shift flow from day to day.
  • Coordinates tasks required to ensure the cleanliness of the viewing area, changing huts, front desk and play area of the facility.
  • Supports and reinforces subbing policy
  • Maintains the appropriate cash levels for each of the front desk tills.
  • Acts as substitute front desk representative when necessary.
  • As a member of the supervisor team, suggests areas for improvement and implements corrective action through in-service or other trainings and workshops.
  • Participates in training/in-services as required.
  • Establishes a relationship with all new Front Desk employees.
  • Works at the Front Desk a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • Assists SSM with troubleshooting all LINKS account issues.
  • Drives sales incentives through Front Desk employees in conjunction with the SSM and GM, to assure that the goals are met.
  • Provides Training in customer service, understanding of LINKS, Point of Sale, and promotional items.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Employer from time to time.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. One or more years as a Front Desk associate required. Experience with Microsoft Office/Word/Excel and Sales/Customer Service training preferred. College degree preferred.
