Job Description

The Hampton Inn in Yemassee SC is looking for a PM Front Desk Representative / relief Night Auditor with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The PM Front Desk Representative hours are 3pm to 11pm and the Relief Night Audit hours are 11pm to 7am. A Front Desk Representative's primary duty is to provide outstanding customer service to all hotel guests to meet Hampton Inn brand standards. This includes answering phone calls from potential guests, making reservations, responding promptly to guest's questions and concerns, and communicating with fellow team members on maintenance and housekeeping issues, guest requests and complaints. Also includes converting inquiries into reservations, presenting hotel features, benefits, and amenities, and familiarizing guests with the local area. Thorough knowledge of all in-house amenities along with local information to assist guests are required. He/she will also be responsible for handling accounts of money, receipts, guest accounts and credit through operation of the cash register and completion of accurate reports is required. Requires familiarity with hotel and franchise standards and procedures, and the ability to attend to the needs and requests of guests. A Front Desk Representative must possess strong customer service skills, have a friendly and outgoing demeanor, the ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems, and the ability to work cohesively with all hotel team members. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
