Job Description

Opening at our South Tampa Urgent Care

Shift: Monday-Thursday 11am-8pm / Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm

Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the registration of new patients, benefit verification and check in processes are handled in an organized and efficient manner including the preparation of paper work at the start and end of the clinic days to allow for a smooth patient flow while providing excellent customer service.Responsible for all aspects of the check-out process, including collecting all monies due at time of service, such as co-pays and co-insurance, scheduling follow up appointments, while providing excellent customer service skills. Verifying all charge slips have been completed, batching daily collections, reconciling missing tickets, and maintaining correct balance in cash box.

Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year experience in a medical office environment
  • Intermediate data entry skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be organized and able to multi task
