Job Description

Dental Front Desk / Financial Coordinator
Overview

  • New team member needed to provide excellent customer service, support, and information to all patients. Candidate must be warm and personable and brings incredible interpersonal and communication skills to help growth in our practice. Must appreciate innovation, possess the ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in/check out each patient in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer phones and address any patient questions
  • Prepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment
  • Educate patients on the benefits of receiving treatment and proper dental care
  • Check patient eligibility and determine any copayments due prior to scheduled visit
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, including rescheduling missed and recall appointments based on office scheduling guidelines and production goals
  • Collect all co-pays and enter payment and procedures into dental software accurately
  • Handle patient issues professionally, as necessary
  • Establish new patient records (electronically as well as hard copies)
  • Collect all copays and enter in dental software
  • Handle patient issues professionally
  • Maintain front desk area in an organized and orderly manner
  • Perform other duties assigned

Requirements/Competencies

  • Knowledge of dental procedures and dental CDT Codes
  • Bilingual, bicultural capabilities a plus
  • Must demonstrate the ability to adapt to change, and maintain professionalism in challenging situations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task
  • Polished presentation skills including the ability to write and articulate in a clear, concise and persuasive manner to effectively present ideas with ease and authority
  • Reliable and dependable; good follow-through skills
  • Cooperative, team-spirited attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
