Job Description

Regent, L.P. ("Regent") is a multi-sector private equity firm focusing on acquiring and managing companies in transition. Our portfolio companies include media, e-commerce and technology brands. We're is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Associate/Office Manager for a newly created role within our firm.

You will apply your professional experience and independent judgment to complex tasks while supporting organizational goals. The Front Desk Associate/Office Manager performs a wide variety of administrative functions to ensure that the executive team is supported, the office is maintained, and help be a cultural ambassador for various firm activities – i.e. catered lunches, travel scheduling, and managing high-profile guests, among many other tasks.

You are:

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with 2+ years office management, hospitality and/or customer service experience
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Assertive and like adding new skills to your professional repertoire on an ongoing basis
  • Tech savvy, with prior experience with Microsoft Office (mostly Excel) required.
  • Successful in an environment where you are required to wear many hats

You have:

  • Track record of managing multiple projects from conception to completion
  • Fantastic problem-solving and time-management capabilities
  • Empathy for customers/visitors and strive to help them in a quick and friendly manner

Responsibilities:

  • General front office, phone & reception support
  • Providing basic support to various departments, including legal, finance, origination, HR, and executive teams
  • Office management including: ordering supplies, stocking the kitchen, organizing and distributing mail, basic technical support, facilities and operations oversight
  • New employee onboarding – help set up their desk for their first days
  • Develop, implement, and manage office operations and procedures
  • Maintain the general condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Office calendar management, including scheduling and arranging travel, both nationally and internationally
  • Manage office budget and ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Conduct other tasks as needed on a project basis
