Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor

The Hampton Inn by Hilton Sulphur is looking for Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor that will be a great addition to our team! This person must provide excellent customer service and have a positive attitude. Experience is not required, although beneficial. Either way, we strive to hire motivated individuals who are willing to learn with energy and commitment.

• Pay is between $10 to $12 an hour, based on experience.

RESPONSIBILTIES

Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate

• Provide front desk services to guest, including transportation and restaurant recommendations.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge with hotel policies and procedures; hotel room rates and types; room location and availability.
• Create reservations for incoming guests.
• Administer prompt check-in and check-out procedures.
• Deliver guest mail, messages and set wake-up calls.
• Coordinate and communicate with other local hotels
• Function the Hilton OnQ computer system, which includes operating Microsoft Office and Excel software.
• Manage a multi-line phone system.
• Maintain guest room inventory.
• Resolve and prioritize customer complaints and/or disputes.
• As a Night Auditor, perform all night audit procedures and other assigned activities set forth by the hotel; perform as a Night Manager.

Guest Service Representative Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years customer service experience.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient time management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experience with conflict resolutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
