Overview: Coastal Eye Associates, in Greater Houston, is actively recruiting a Front Desk Associate.

The Front Desk reviews and updates patient demographic information, and collects payments when appropriate. The front desk may serve as the final clerical contact patients have during the visit and utilizes appropriate customer service skills. The front desk may answer multiple phone lines, schedule appointments, assemble, maintain, locate and file medical records. Will be responsible for covering check out when needed.
Ultimately, the position requires a meticulous individual with a positive attitude, excellent patient satisfaction skills, and product and service knowledge. Individual must be an enthusiastic, devoted, team player that is able to thrive in an aesthetic clinical setting.

Responsibilities: The Front Desk Associate performs a variety of clerical and patient service duties necessary to maintain efficient flow of operations in the clinical/surgical office-setting.The Front Desk reviews and updates patient demographic information, and collects payments when appropriate. Qualifications:
- EDUCATION: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years’ experience in a medical office/health care setting required. Minimum two years’ health care insurance experience required.
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Strong computer knowledge and skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
- MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY (preferred)
- BILINGUAL PREFERED
- Must possess a spontaneous desire to assist others and provide excellent customer service while being passionate within your role, along with being both efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly dependable and organized.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
