Front Desk Agent W/housing Option

Best Western Alpenglo Lodge in downtown Winter Park Colorado seeks a front desk team member with a positive attitude who is interested in the hospitality industry. Experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and computer knowledge a plus. A housing option exists (private bedroom in a shared unit) - - - please contact us for details. Responsibilities of Front Desk agent include but are not limited to:

• Register arriving guests and assigns rooms.
• Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins and special requests.
• Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
• Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.
• Depending on the shift, assists with execution of guest complimentary breakfast.
• Maintains customers’ privacy.
• Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned

We are flexible on days/hours worked. Competitive hourly wage ($15.50-$17/hour DOE) plus Best Western Reward sign up incentives results in a higher than average earning potential. Benefits include paid vacations and 401K and occasional bonuses (seasonal).
