Job Description
- Provide excellent customer service which includes registration and check out.
- Answer telephone calls promptly, and in professional and courteous manner
- Has thorough knowledge of the hotel PMS system, the hotel facilities including rooms types, rates, and amenities offered
- Knowledgeable of the local area, including restaurants, groceries, malls, and any other areas that might interest hotel guests
- Respond to inquiries about the hotel and assist guest in making reservations
- Respond to guest request and concerns in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist Sales Team in marketing and promotions of the hotel to achieve financial goals
- Assist the sales team in managing groups reservations including reservations and billing
- Maintain daily operational requirements including but not limited to preparing key packets for mobile check in, reviewing arrival list and ensure that special request are taken care of, manage guest recognition programs, and other requirements on the shift’s checklist
- Be knowledgeable of fire and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Any other duties that The Front Office Manager and the General Manager might require
- Complete necessary training that Marriott International or JHS Associates requires
- Adhere to the rules and policies of JHS Associates and Marriott International
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess an outgoing and upbeat personality and provide service with a smile
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, vendors and other hotel personnel.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to work different shifts and work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Basic Computer knowledge required
- A dedicated team player and should be able to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
