Freelance Graphic Designer (Korean/English Bilingual)

WEBTOON is a digital entertainment service with over 75 million unique monthly readers. We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer (Korean-speaking) to bring Korean original content to Gen-Z and Millennial audiences in our English-speaking target markets.

Responsibilities

• Prep Korean webcomic episodes for translation; recreating panels, speech bubbles, text, and graphics when appropriate
• Adhere to font style guides
• Deliver high-quality, professional content by production deadlines

Requirements

• Experience working with webcomics and lettering
• Korean-language proficiency, must be able to read and type Korean
• Excellent attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of industry standards, trends, and technical knowledge
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proactive, flexible, and ready to find solutions!
