Job Purpose/Overview
At Lavazza, the FP&A Manager is a critical role to driving analysis and insights that supports revenue growth and high ROI investments for Lavazza Group. The role serves as a conduit to the controller’s group by translating financial results into an insightful, accurate narrative that helps promote sound decision making for Lavazza Group.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading the monthly forecasting and bi-annual budgeting process within the finance community by creating all of the tools to streamline inputs as well as report out results in a clear and thorough manner.
Location: West Chester, PA
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the conduit between the Controller’s group and FP&A by interpreting the financial statements and having discussions with the appropriate finance team members in order to develop the story for each month’s performance.
- Lead the month end finance call with the CFO with key responsibilities being to provide the overview of the month’s performance, explain variances to targets and facilitate discussions between the CFO and finance team to assure the critical story is being told.
- Lead the production of the management team presentation by capturing the critical insights from actual results as well as year to go estimates to provide an insightful summary of actual results and year end estimates.
- Facilitate the annual planning processes by coordinating inputs/assumptions with the finance team and interpreting those to the FP&A director.
- Analyze trends (internal & external) to analyze opportunities for growth/higher ROI investments.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, Accounting / Finance or Business
- MBA or CPA degree preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical experience and track record of interpreting complex financial results into a simple message
- Knowledge of General Accounting practices, GAAP and internal controls
- Excellent SAP and Microsoft Office skills (including advance Excel, Power BI skills)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
