Job Description
    DutiesSummary

    You will serve as a Foundry Molder in the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.


    Responsibilities
    • You will fabricate intricate and proto-type shaped molds out of various sands, synthetics and cement.
    • You will manufacture products made from wax or foam.
    • You will determine the placement of gating system and locations of risers, chills, fillets, braces, etc for new prototype and/or novel work.
    • You will operate forklifts and bobcats used in moving and shaking out the castings.
