Job Description
We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our EPS facility in Puyallup, WA. Forklift Operators will utilize forklifts to take product off of the production line and put away in designated locations in the warehouse. Hourly Rate: $18.07
$500 Sign On Bonus after completion of 90 days of employment?
Shift: 1st
Monday- Friday, OT as needed

Three (3) years’ experience in Logistics environment, including the experience of loading of materials in/on trailers with a forklift.

Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
*
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
*
Experience in pulling orders and packaging for shipment.
This position uses the following equipment in the course of the job duties: forklift, pallet jack, tape measure, calculator,
radio, and phone.
Physical requirements
For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds. There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds. In addition, this position requires the abilities listed with percentages:
Driving – 60%
Standing – 10%
Sitting and walking – 20%
Lifting – 5%
Climbing and bending– 1%
Twisting – 2%
Squatting, Reaching above shoulders, and Crawling – 2%
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used
While working on the production floor, eye protection, hearing protection and steel toe boots are required at all times. Other forms of PPE may be required as defined by management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate propane sit down lift trucks
- Visually inspect material for quality defects
- Load trucks with products and log all shipments completed
- Keep production line clear and running
- Keep product and raw materials properly stored
- Material handling of all products
- Fill dumpsters from production floor
- Housekeeping of plant inside and out
- Assist production and associated tasks and perform general plant clean-up
- Fill in on other areas of the plant as required
