Job Description
A career in our Cybersecurity, Privacy and Forensics will provide you the opportunity to solve our clients most critical business and data protection related challenges. You will be part of a growing team driving strategic programs, data analytics, innovation, deals, cyber resilency, response, and technical implementation activities. You will have access to not only the top Cybersecurity, Privacy and Forensics professionals at PwC, but at our clients and industry analysts across the globe. Our Investigations team focuses on helping our clients to detect and investigate fraudulent activities or irregularities within their organisation. As part of our team, you will perform fraud investigations, forensic accounting engagements, litigation support, crisis response, insurance claims support, and address anti-kickback and anti-bribery matters for a diverse group of both public and private multinational clients, not-for profits and state and local governments. You will work closely with the office of general counsel, chief compliance officers, boards and outside counsel. Our team not only helps clients respond to instances of fraud or irregularity, but also works with them to emerge stronger as an entity.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Dispute process and lifecycle and experience in quantifying economic damages and other financial analyses for use in litigation;

  • Corporate governance and SOX requirements with respect to executing a corporate investigation, including understanding the requirements under Section 10a of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, with respect to illegal acts; and,

  • GAAP and internal controls including understanding internal control methodologies, terminology and design effectiveness.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Creating formal reports and analyses for use in litigation, arbitration, and mediation and for communicating to clients and/or Regulatory bodies by clearly and articulately presenting findings to client Boards/Committees and other interested parties;

  • Managing all aspects of client engagements including directing, reviewing, developing and managing technical staff;

  • Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;

  • Communicating value propositions;

  • Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;

  • Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;

  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

  • Directing and reviewing the work of staff members and developing thorough client relationships; and,

  • Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
