Job Description
Overview: Responsible for providing basic dietary leadership in assigned areas.Responsibilities:
  • Produces and serves accurate, attractive, temperature appropriate meals to
    patients, staff and visitors per procedures
  • Maintains clean work area and follows all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Consistently follows recipes as written using portion control guidelines
    when serving food
    Demonstrates ability to adjust work assignments to meet needs of
    department
  • LEAD: Assists with staff communication, training and follow-up
  • LEAD: Demonstrates ability to perform basic requirements of all positions and can act in a back-up role when necessary.
  • LEAD: Adjusts meals to meet the needs of the patient while following population specific and cultural guidelines and meeting doctor’s orders
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • IDPH Food Service Sanitation Certification
  • Healthcare food service experience 1 year required
