JOB SUMMARY
The Food Service Aide works under the supervision of the area Manager performing routine food service tasks such as; preparing special food requests or short order items, portioning, serving and merchandising food to internal and external customers. This individual performs a variety of routine food series task. The Food Service Aide cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils and equipment to maintain a clean food service department.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED QULIFICATIONS
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Sixteen years of age. Demonstrated ability to read and write English language. Demonstrated ability to complete basic arithmetic calculations, tell time and complete simple measurements.
Preferred/Optional: High school diploma or equivalent. One year in food service and customer service experience.
