Summary of Position:
The FME Monitor will report directly to the FME Supervisor on the job. The FME Monitor shall conduct pre-inventory and on-going accounting for all tools, supplies and materials used during the maintenance of power facilities. Record and account for personnel entry and exit from maintenance area. Document the recovery of parts, tools and materials, including location, within equipment and maintenance area. Direct personnel in the recovery of lost materials. Enter information into log and accounting books. Create report documents and maintain information. Report and document any on-site incidents. Manage the flow of personnel entering and exiting the maintenance area. Trains workers in the power generation field on Foreign Materials Exclusion/Drop Prevention and working safely to prevent the intrusion of foreign materials into critical systems and equipment.

Core Plant Protection Services is a Specialty Foreign Material Exclusion Services company that provides oversight and monitoring services with highly skilled and qualified individuals who have been trained specifically in Foreign Material Intrusion Prevention.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Interact directly with nuclear and energy site personnel.
· Ability to read and comprehend formal documents or guidelines (i.e. Administrative or Technical Procedures, Project Plans or written scripts) and accurately perform based on the requirements of the document.
· Assemble, maintain and control all necessary and required procedural and non-procedural logs and paper-works while on any site Project.
· Handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Physical Demands:
· Ability to work extended periods of time and shift work through evening, nights and weekends.
· Ability to be on feet (standing, walking) for extended periods of time
· Ability to safely work at varying heights
· Must be able to work in a variety of client locations, environments, and conditions. This includes climbing stairs (many flights at times), walking long distances, walking on rough and uneven terrain, walking through client work facilities, working indoors/outdoors, and working in temperature variant environments such as extreme heat or cold.
· Must be able to withstand the rigors of extensive travel.
· Some client locations are remote, require difficult travel and long periods of driving.
· Ability to move and conduct work with full range of motion.
· Ability to lift 25-50lbs.
Required Travel:
· Domestic and/or international travel required, for extended periods of time, as required for client work.
· Infrequent travel required for internal training.

Pay: $1.00 - $1.10 per hour
