Floral Designer

Floral designers create arrangements of fresh or artificial flowers that are typically purchased by customers for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and funerals.

We are looking to hire a creative floral designer to design and create, standard and customized floral arrangements to customers.

The floral designer's responsibilities include making floral arrangements according to the price, for delivery orders, in store and pick up orders and ready to go, following recepies when needed and keeping the work station organized. Floral designers also needs to know how to arrange indoor plants in pots, with bows and fresh cut flowers.

Floral designer should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that ordered floral arrangements are delivered to customers in a timely manner.

Floral Designer Responsibilities:

- Selecting and arranging flowers and decorative items to create standard and customized floral

- Inform when any supply of wires, foams, ribbons, tapes, ither decorative supplies and special flowers are needed. Flower designer DO NOT manage supplies or is in charge of contacting suppliers, purchasing flowers o any other supply.

- Making the arrangements on time for delivery hours.

- Consulting with clients to determine their preferences and specifications before designing customized floral arrangements whenever is needed or desired to accomplish the final design of an order. Flower Design is NOT in charge of Customer Service or taking orders or payments.

Floral Designer Requirements:

- Proven floral design experience.

- Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Exceptional customer service skills.

- Work under preassure

- Artistic and creative.

- Detail-oriented.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
