POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Member Experience Manager, the Member Relations Associate handles daily operations in Member Relations, including membership sales and updates, greeting and welcoming all, scanning cards, tours to potential members, class registration, filing, general data entry, and overnight security. They will be the daily point of contact for members, determining their needs and offering solutions to meet these needs. They will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to Y members, program participants and guest. This position requires afternoon, evening, weekend hours.

- Gather and record member data in member profiles
- Facilitate member to member engagement.
- Provides information and assistance related to membership rates, programs, services, scholarships and other Y amenities.?
- Prepares member records and issues membership ID cards and handles all registration/enrollment transactions.
- Assist Membership Manager with membership business and administrative tasks.
- Perform additional task and projects as assigned by the Director of Member Relations
- Wellness Center Desk
- Perform point of sale and Program registration transactions
- Perform MindBody Online bookings
- Perform walk through of Wellness Center/PWC/Racquetball Courts/Track/Free-weight area
- Follow up member calls- for massage and orientation appointments, as well as PT clients who have low sessions remaining.
- Checking in and out of equipment
- Perform daily maintenance in Wellness area.
- Stack and organize magazine racks in WC and PWC
- Maintain desk supplies(ie appointment cards)
- Update/clean out member workout cards
- Maintain TV schedule
- Check Voicemail
- Maintain machine numbers and sign up board
- Perform nightly closing procedures
- Assess equipment repair needs and maintain equipment repair records
- Support the YMCA’s commitment to child abuse prevention
- Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to the maintenance staff.
- Greeting all guests as they enter the facility and adhere to sign-in/out, guest, visitor, monitoring youth in the facility and other relevant policies and procedures. Report any suspicious behavior and violations of policy and procedures to your supervisor.
- Completing all child abuse prevention training as required.
- Supporting the YMCA’s mission and center operations as needed.
- Preferred that candidates are able to work a variety of hours including early morning, evening and weekends.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week with a minimum or 4 hour shifts
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.35 per hour
