Fitness Instructor (Part-Time)

The Town of Silverthorne is seeking Certified Group Fitness Instructors for Strength Training, Cycling and Pilates classes at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. Fitness Instructors also maintain safety in the fitness area and monitor participants for appropriate fitness level during classes. Fitness Instructor would be expected to teach a minimum of one class per week.

Hiring Rage is: $20.42 - $23.14

Full Pay Range is: $20.42 - $27.22

Fitness Instructors at the Silverthorne Recreation Center are required to have:

• a current National Fitness Instructor Certification through a recognised association such as ACE or AFFA
• minimum of one year of fitness class teaching experience
• CPR / First Aid training, or the ability to obtain this within 3 months
• the ability to communicate effectively verbally in English in both individual and group settings
• the ability to effectively demonstrate fitness exercises to others
