Job Overview:

Primary Activities:

• Greets all members & guests with a smile and wishes them well as they exit the club
• Assists with membership and retail product sales
• Promotes membership privileges including tanning, group fitness, small group training and childcare
• Checks in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
• Answers phones in a courteous, helpful, professional manner
• Communicates special events to members and guests
• Facilitates all member requests or forwards to a manager
• Maintains a professional and courteous disposition
• Knows club facility, services, and schedules
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Performs opening and closing duties

Physical Demands:

This is a physical role requiring the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may require standing or bending for prolonged work hours.

Required Education and Experience:

• Business experience in a service-oriented environment is desirable
• On the job training is provided
• CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire

Compensation package:

• Hourly rate $9 - $12/hour
• Part-time and full-time positions are available
• Full time employees are eligible for health benefits plan
