The contractor shall provide fitness trainers to develop and conduct physical fitness programs for Government facilities. The Contractor shall ensure that programs and health fairs are tailored to specific needs to include occupational groups. This includes performing fitness evaluations, maintenance of fitness facilities, and providing health assessments, as required. Provide an on-site full-time Certified Fitness Trainers to develop and conduct physical fitness programs for Government facilities occupants.
- Develop and conduct health and physical fitness programs that can be tailored to individual needs and/or occupational groups.
- Conduct health education briefings as necessary.
- Perform fitness evaluations as requested by personnel and/or groups.
- Maintain existing fitness facilities.
Minimum Qualifications for Certified Fitness Instructor:
- A Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related discipline.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
- Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Sports Performance Association (NSPA) or the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) is desirable.
