Job Description


As a Finishing operator, you will be responsible for functions occurring within the Finishing center operations. You may be assigned to duties that include: packaging slit rolls to customer specifications, cutting cores, and labeling rolls. Higher level roles in the Finishing operations include the operation of slitting, rewinding and/or automated packaging equipment.

  • The days/hours for this position are: Mon-Fri 12:00pm-8pm


  • In this important role, you will be responsible for:
  • Inspecting general appearance of finished product.
  • Preparing cores for machine operators.
  • Labeling finished goods for shipment, per customer specifications, quality requirements and standard practices.
  • Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Adjust set up and process operations accordingly.
  • Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
  • Communicating and coordinating necessary information to appropriate shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations.
  • Understand and implement the quality standard procedures that relate to the role and responsibilities of a Coating Operator.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required.
  • Performing duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.
  • Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform all duties assigned by supervisor.

  • You will be required show proficiency with computer applications.
  • You must be able to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
