Financial Systems Consolidation Analyst

Eaton is looking for a Specialist - FCCS System Administrator to join our Corporate Finance team. This position will be located in Beachwood, OH.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) system, which is Eaton’s consolidation system that all Oracle and SAP sites feed into for consolidated monthly reporting. FCCS is Eaton’s book of record for its consolidated internal financial statements and external financial statements for reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). FCCS also feeds all the data to Eaton’s ENCORE system used by operations for management reporting.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for the FCCS/DM system during close to produce Eaton’s consolidated financial results. This includes the daily processing/consolidation of input data and end user adjustment journals. You will be responsible for the validation of the import/export of source data that flows through the system applications.
• Ensure the applications are always running efficiently and effectively by monitoring the timeliness of data availability, consistence of user connectivity and the flow of the automated scheduled jobs
• Assist in providing end-user support and training and as well as supporting Help Desk queries/troubleshooting
• Manage FCCS access requests and security group structures/changes. Ensure that adequate safeguards are in place for Eaton’s consolidated financial data
• Be responsible for all instances of FCCS/DM (Productions, QA, Test, Development)
• Be responsible for historical HFM/FDM application in all related environments
• Oversee any alternative uses for FCCS/DM, such as outbound data files and makes sure that any alternative uses are thoroughly tested
• Support ESSBASE Archive applications for Tax
• Collaborate with IT, India managed services, and Oracle support to ensure that expected application performance levels are maintained and achieved
• Support and manages monthly system upgrades, regression testing and patches
• Support and manages related system growth, as Oracle releases new functionality
• Act as backup system administrator for ARCS when normal resources are unavailable

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience using HFM and/or FCCS
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in accounting, finance, and/or financial systems roles
• This position does not provide relocation. Candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Eaton's Beachwood, OH location to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years' experience using HFM and/or FCCS
• 7 experience in accounting, finance, and/or financial systems roles
