OverviewThe Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role reports to the Sr. Director of FP&A and is a highly visible position supporting executive leadership in the fastest growing areas of the bank. The successful candidate will be accountable for all FP&A responsibilities as outlined below and will act as a strategic business partner through providing value-added analysis and insights. While this role is currently listed as an individual contributor, opportunities to build a team from the ground up may exist in the future depending on demand for increased support.

Responsibilities
- Act as single point of finance support for leadership within specified line of business
- Establish strong relationships based in trust and transparency across all levels of the organization
- Proactively research industry trends and communicate results to business leadership
- Development of pro forma schedules related to potential M&A opportunities
- Act as internal consultant by identifying and effectively communicating opportunities for improvement within supported lines of business
- Leverage multiple data sources to gather and report financial and non-financial data to line of business leadership
- Synthesize large amounts of data into concise and actionable presentations for business leadership
- Effectively update, review and communicate monthly financial forecast, monthly financial performance and annual budget to multiple lines of business
- Develop standardized materials to review with business leadership on a recurring basis
- Provide detailed balance sheet and NIM analysis to business leadership on a monthly basis
- Understand and provide transparency around linkage between staff support requirements and revenue generation within lines of business
- Work across lines of business to understand variances and clearly articulate results to business leadership
- Ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into easy to consume, value-added analysis
- Strong presentation skills with a focus on communication to executive leadership
- Demonstrate ability to understand and analyze balance sheets of financial services organizations
- Strong data management capabilities with proven ability to leverage multiple sources of data into a centralized environment
- Proactive nature and intellectual curiosity to uncover opportunities internally or within the competitive marketplace
Education, Previous Work Experience, and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management or other directly related field is required and 5+ years of related experience.
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar is preferred. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working with bank balance sheet in the past
- Excellent analytical and organization skills. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and data mining/gathering.
- Advanced to intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office, financial reporting/accounting software
