Job Description

GI Alliance / Texas Digestive Disease Consultants (TDDC) is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position purpose

To support the company’s financial health and business strategy through budgeting, forecasting and analyzing financial performance.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Work with team to develop budgets, key operational performance indicators, management reporting dashboards, integrated 3-statement financial models, and ad hoc analysis to guide and support executive management decision making.
  • Assist Senior Management with special projects to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist with development of financial reporting to various stakeholders.
  • Perform financial and operational analyses relevant for understanding of corporate and practice performance; answer questions by researching, interpreting and presenting data.
  • Identifying and supporting implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Finance, Business or Accounting degree required;

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-5 years experience in an FP&A or Finance / Accounting role; healthcare-related industry preferred
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights preferred

Performance Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting.
  • Ability to create presentation, work cross-functionally within the organization, and build relationships with various departments.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including an advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Financial modeling experience; ability to construct and operate a three-statement financial statement model.
  • Ability to critically analyze financial information and communicate assumptions effectively.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills:
  • Ability to extract, organize and analyze large datasets.
  • Aptitude to understands trends, drive specific analyses, and develop actionable insights from them.
  • Driven to identify problems and discrepancies, independently perform research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers) via strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as well as part of team.
