JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models to support business operations. Perform activities related to maintaining the budgets, forecasts and reporting for Orbis Education and its individual sites. This role will have exposure across several functional areas of the organization. Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure, using judgment in accomplishing tasks that are urgent or of a sensitive or confidential nature; balance conflicting priorities, and make decisions from a range of choices. Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working and contributing in an environment where change in process/procedures is the norm while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor.

Work Schedule: Hybrid Remote- 2 days in office and 3 days work from home.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly and special financial reports
- Perform complex and detailed reconciliations with minimal supervision
- Incorporate historical numbers to provide up to date trending analysis
- Without direction be able to identify and clearly communicate areas of cost concern within partner accounts
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets and updating forecast based on assumptions gathered from all areas within the company
- Assist in preparing ad-hoc models needed to make business decisions, including pro formas, site level projections, ROI analyses, “make vs buy” analyses, etc.
- Be responsive to partner institutions for requested financial projects as needed
- Work closely with accounting department to understand accounting treatment of transactions and the impact to financial statement analysis
- Assist in special projects as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1-3 years in a professional accounting or finance environment
- 1-3 years of analytical responsibility within a corporate environment
