Summary of RoleThe financial analyst role is a key role within the finance/accounting department that will perform many functions to maximize the company’s revenue and net profits. This role will be responsible for the preparation of financial results and other reports related to operating performance key metrics. This role will drive continuous improvement in all processes including reporting, planning, and financial modeling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gathering of data and preparation of month end financial results
• Providing oversight of accounts payable process and implement processes to reduce manual risk
• Reconcile financial data against Oracle NetSuite
• Ad hoc financial analysis related to customers, products, and sales
• Develop and maintain an accurate revenue forecasting tool
• Reconcile and evaluate forecasted revenue vs. actual revenue monthly
• Communicate with Director of Finance any changes related to forecast trends
• Prepare ad hoc graphics and data as needed for executive level presentations
• Analyze costs and provide pricing recommendations for new product launches
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working in a corporate setting in finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Results and deadline oriented
