Primary Purpose:
This Financial Analyst will work closely with Finance and Supply Chain and Operations (SCO) leadership to provide financial reporting and analysis. A successful candidate will be an independent problem solver demonstrating strong attention to detail who can identify process deficiencies and takes action and ownership to improve those processes. This role will enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems and general support for the accounting and financial reporting requirements for all US Operations and Supply Chain functions. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting and analysis applying the Company's systems. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Finance – Supply Chain and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate, analyze, and present monthly financial results to business leaders.
- Support USA Accounting during the month end close process to ensure the financials properly reflect actual business activity.
- Build and maintain benchmark reporting of vital metrics that will allow Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) leadership to compare success and opportunities across the facility network.
- Educate business partners in the field on how daily decisions impact financial results (i.e. coordinate proper and timely coding of all operations related expenses).
- Partner with SCO leadership to prepare various financial models to make informed business decisions (i.e. capital expenditure return on investments).
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of branch level Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and monthly forecasts.
- Coordinate with SCO leadership on proposed AOP requirements, challenge submissions that greatly deviate from actual trend and recommend alternatives to meet overall performance targets and strategic goals.
- Prepare periodic scenario and sensitivity analyses with financial models.
- Facilitate clear, accurate, and timely communication of information to SCO Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Computer Programming from fully accredited four year institution is required
- 0-2 years of relevant Finance, Accounting, Analytics and/or Computer Programming experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office with strong Excel skills; Strong writing/communication skills
- Great communication skills regarding data results.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience with SAP preferred but not required
- Experience with BPC preferred but not required
- Alteryx experience preferred but not required
