Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the creation of operational and financial reports, forecasting future results, and providing various standard and ad hoc analyses. Additionally, position will report to the Financial Systems and Reporting Manager in enhancing our FP&A systems and reporting.


Responsibilities

  • Creates forecasting models, publishes management reports, and provides financial performance analysis to operational teams

  • Delivers key analysis of financial and operational performance on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Retrieves, discerns, and reconciles information from various sources to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting

  • Participates in driving process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, modeling and analysis

  • Creates and presents various reports to operating groups, tailoring information as needed for greater clarity and understanding

  • Ensures timely development of accurate reports and analysis to support corporate goals and strategies

  • Ensures the efficient and accurate flow of data between the various financial reporting systems

  • Recommends and drives improvements & enhancements to current financial systems

  • Develops and verifies accuracy of financial reports and dashboards in the various FP&A reporting tools


What You'll Need
Education

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.


Skills

  • Extremely detail oriented and organized

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers across all levels and areas of the company

  • Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations

  • Knowledge of Financial Systems, databases, SQL preferred


Experience

  • Prior experience in finance, accounting, business analytics or planning preferred


Travel Requirement

  • Less than 5% travel


Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

How You'll Be Rewarded

  • Base Pay Range in Colorado: $80,000 - $99,000

  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
