Finance - Project Control Specialist: We are currently seeking a finance professional to support the day-to-day operations of Corporate Headquarters in Fairfax, VA. The project control specialist will be responsible for completing billing, accounts receivables, and collections. .

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Bill customers on a monthly and bi-weekly basis (to include invoice preparation)
• Make collection calls/cold-calling
• Reconcile un-billed and provide a monthly detailed explanation of un-billed
• Prepare closeouts for old and recently ended projects, as needed
• Work with Unanet time reporting system to generate and reconcile bills
• Work with Costpoint Accounting software

Required Skills:

• 2-5 Years Billing / Invoice Preparation & Submission
• Project Control
• Contract/ Subcontract work
• Experience with Excel
• Unanet reporting and/or Costpoint Accounting Software

Desired Skills:

• Experience with one or more of the following: Unanet, WAWF, or IPP timekeeping or Costpoint Accounting Systems
• Ability to read contracts to make sure invoices are created and follow the Customer/DCAA/FAR requirements
• Monitor project funding
• Revenue recognition and analysis
• Experience with conducting Contract Closeout Billing -Maintaining/Analyzing, and Project Unbilled
• Can work independently and with short/tight deadlines
