Description
SAIC is seeking a Sr. Finance Analyst to support our NAVAIR program in St. Inigoes, MD.
Job Duties:
- Provide senior level financial analysis and management support, and act as the Contract Support Services (CSS) financial lead, within the NAWCAD WOLF Air Traffic Control Systems Division.
- Work closely with the Project Funds Lead and Portfolio Manager for all Division funding matters.
- Monitor execution, benchmarks, and carry-over funding for all systems/projects consisting of multiple funding appropriations, and provide recommendations to assist with meeting expenditure requirements.
- Conduct research and generate reports utilizing Navy-ERP, SDW, and EDA.
- Assist with resolving N-ERP discrepancies and posting issues related to services contracts.
- Obtain and consolidate data for taskers and respond to data calls.
- Lead the CSS financial team, comprised of junior to senior level analysts; disseminate information on policy and ensure adherence; provide guidance and training; track tasking deadlines and validate data; and ensure consistent reporting and tracking throughout the team.
- Develop documentation to assist the team such as templates, desktop guides, and processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience - additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process, SDW and EDA.
- At least five (5) years of Navy-ERP experience is required.
- Proficiency with developing and modifying formulas in MS Excel required.
- Candidate should have strong organizational skills; a focus on customer service; strong attention to detail; the ability to multi-task; proficient written and verbal communication skills; the ability to follow and ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures; and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and teammates at all levels of the organization.
- An active DoD Secret security clearance is required.
