Summary:

Financial Project Manager partner with Service Line Administrators, management, and finance department personnel to assess financial and accounting needs and report requirements and coordinates the operations of our overall financial accountability program. Manages the process of daily financial operations of the services lines, analyzing interim and month end statistics, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. Evaluate the current strategies developed by senior management and make recommendations on operation and financial improvements to achieve strategic objectives.Responsibilities: Oversees financial activity and finance systems support for the Presbyterian Service Lines, ensuring sufficient cost and revenue controls to safeguard funds while allowing the service lines to accomplish its programmatic missions. Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues and reducing operational costs for the organization
Develop the production of monthly and annual financial reports, audit activities, and other information reports and requests by accounting and financial management, Service Line Administration; ensures accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
Provides assistance to Service Line Administration regarding application and interpretation of accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, implementation of new practices and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resour
Collaborates with other members of Presbyterian leadership to expand the training and development of Service Line Administration staff in the utilization and maintenance of Presbyterians Financial Tools, Systems, and Reporting
Researches, recommends, and oversees implementation of process and procedure changes based on policy and procedure, Federal legislation and directives, and changes to relevant current accounting practices
Supports the process in the design, development, implementation, and management of automated financial management systems that support the operational functions of the Presbyterian; reviews, approves, and participates in the implementation of supporting systems software, hardware, and networksQualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. Seven years related experience. Ability in PC and mainframe environments. Excellent analytical and communications skills. Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Lawson, COGNOS, Crystal Reports, and Premier Operations Advisor. CPA/CMA/MBA preferred. Requires detailed knowledge of cost accounting principles in terms of theories and practices to serve as the resource or educator to other practitioners in the field. Also detailed knowledge of feeder systems into the general ledger to support complex, multi-structured analysis across all business units.
