Field Service Technician / Engineer In High Tech

About this Job

We are looking for a competent Field Service Technician / Engineer to perform equipment maintenance, mechanical installation and electrical installation for high vacuum thin film coating equipments. You will undertake a variety of activities in the company as well as in the field ranging from system assembly to process development.

An effective field service technician/engineer has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth field operations. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will need to be familiar with manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible to assemble mechanical components to build high vacuum coating machine
Assist engineering team to install electrical components
Run electronics cable and wires in accordance to schematics and drawings
Assist the engineering team to implement new procedure
Maintain tools and test equipments
Assist in shipping and receiving
And other supporting functions

Requirements

Familiarity with manufacturing procedure

Understanding of vacuum system
Excellent communication
Ability to multi-tasking
Job requires traveling domestic and international
Installation demands physical ability to lift 50+ lb
Working height platform can reach up to 15’

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
