Field Service Technician - CNC Machines

Thank you for your interest in a position with Alwin Machinery, Inc. We are the Exclusive Distributor of the Fadal Engineering and Mighty Viper machine tool lines.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. This position is open to both experienced technicians as well as those just starting out in the industry as we offer a hands on training program which will set you up for success.

Our technicians travel to our customers locations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, where you are home each day. Overnight stays are required occasionally.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to diagnose problems with CNC Mills and Lathes

• Troubleshoot, install, service, rebuild and perform maintenance as necessary.

• Recommend additional services or the purchase of additional equipment to customers.

• Maintain parts inventory on your truck

Requirements:

• An individual with good presentation and communication skills is required as well as someone who can work independently and can motivate him/herself.

• Hands on knowledge of volt meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic/measuring equipment

• Ability to read and understand direction and procedure manuals

• Good driving record

• Ability to pass a drug and background test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
