We're looking for a Field Service Partner Manager to join our team in Libertyville. The field service manager will be responsible for successfully establishing a network of well qualified service providers that work under a service agreement. The service providers are delivering services such as maintenance, break fix, and commissioning on our AC & DC product in the field.

Get to know the team
As a Field Service Partner Manager based in our Libertyville office you will be part of the Field Services team that is responsible for the field service KPI reports and discussions with our field service partners and service customers.

What you'll be doing
You will work on creating a field service network, solving issues they have in the field, and ensuring they have sufficient knowledge of products. You will be based in our office in Libertyville and report to the Global Field Service Partner Manger.


Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Provide support of field service partners with the implementation of commissioning and on-site services.
  • Develop and follow performance KPI of service providers, quality of installed base activities and corrective actions
  • Be responsible for SLA contracts
  • Develop a good and workable relation with field service partners to allow continued improvement of quality
  • Work with the Global Partner Service Partner Manger to build a system that would allow automatic tracking of field service partner performance
  • Work with the Global Field Service Partner Manger to improve the selection process for new service providers (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
  • Improve standard operating procedure to ensure maximum efficiency of field service activities
  • Manage and improve the onboarding process of new service partners
  • Work closely with support manager North America to ensure high uptime and high CSAT of customers assets Develop dashboards for KPI reporting for service providers and customers
  • Provide support of field service partners with the implementation of commissioning and on-site services.

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing field service providers in a equivalent field
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics or similar) degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experienced in a 2nd or 3rd line Technical Support role
  • Hands-on experience with development and/or support of Cloud connected Embedded software systems or IoT systems
  • Superior communication and articulation skills - being a professional presentation of EVBox to our customers
  • Knowledge on M2M communication standards and platforms
  • Superior troubleshooting/analytical skills
  • Proven skills in creating technical documentation / support articles

If you have any of these, even better

  • Electrical habilitation
  • Knowledge of charging installations and equipment
  • Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry is preferred
  • Technical management of partners is highly preferred
  • Experience with Data Analysis preferred
