Job Description

The Field Project Manager/Sr. FPM, Medical Value & Outcomes will support and lead projects for the Medical Value & Outcomes (MVO) team and greater North American Medical (NAM) organization team including field medical excellence, implementation of systems and tools, digital initiatives, medical education, and process improvements. This position can be field- or home office- based, and reports to the Director of Field Medical Operations & Strategic Projects, MVO.

General Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key contact for the MVO team for the coordination of multiple administrative and logistical aspects for advisory boards, annual offsite seminars, the Annual Budget Plan, and other items as assigned.

  • Support field team by assisting in content submission to Medical Material Review Committee (MMRC)

  • Assume responsibility for advisory board management for the MVO team, including contracting and vendor management

  • Develop and maintain methods for managing resources and communications across multiple field medical teams.

  • Work alongside MVOs to communicate and triage for the timely execution of contracts and project milestones by health care decision makers (HCDMs) for field initiatives including advisory boards and HCDM-led trainings of the MVO teams.

  • Support the development of new processes and procedures in collaboration with Field Based Medical (FBM) leadership to refine and improve execution of contracting agreements between the FBM organization and external HCP stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with MVO leadership to aid in securing vendor support for MVO activities. Serve as the main point of contact for contracts and vendors.

  • Prioritize and execute tasks across a wide range of projects.

  • Ensure compliance and adherence to field medical-related policy.

  • Assist with strategic projects and other project management-related duties identified by MVO field leadership and in collaboration with Director of Field Medical Operations.

Additional Roles/Responsibilities for Sr. FPM

  • Develop systems, as appropriate, to assess resource utilization, including resource version control, analytics on resource utilization, and related MMRC processes.

  • Identify, evaluate and implement digital technology resources, as appropriate, to innovate the delivery and utilization of MVO resources.

  • Produce monthly dashboard to show field medical operations progress of supporting programs for medical access and engagement.

  • Develop and manage tools/resources to improve the effectiveness of the Field Medical Team.

  • Training/mentoring of MSL team on field medical operations procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated track record project/program management

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to cooperate transversally through significant experience working in a team environment

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial

  • Possesses high level of learning agility and digital acumen

  • Fluent with Office 365 applications (including SharePoint and MS Project)

  • Ability to skillfully negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups.

  • Demonstrates a high level of business acumen in order to navigate the organizational behavior, culture and be able to flourish in a complex and rapidly evolving workplace.

  • Prior experience working directly with field medical teams and working knowledge of medical affairs organization is preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage projects with many complex, multiple tasks and to coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure project success.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks.

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a responsible manner.

  • Travel will be required for some team meetings and other company functions.
