Job Description
We are looking for a self-starting individual with strong experience in B2B marketing to develop and execute various marketing strategies for our regional offices. The Field Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping us grow brand awareness, maintain our regional shared leads program to deliver high-quality leads, and support pipeline acceleration activities to further generate revenue.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be results-driven, and have superior attention to detail, especially with analytics. Reporting to the Field Marketing Manager, the Field Marketing Specialist will develop and execute lead generation and pipeline acceleration marketing programs for assigned markets. This is a great position to learn and grow with the company, requiring a unique combination of micro and macro planning. This position can be in San Diego, CA or remote.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate with manager on executing marketing initiatives in assigned region marketing plans

Support managing logistics in marketing events (virtually & in-person) in assigned regions including event schedules, venue contracts, registration set-up, promotion, day-of logistics, follow-up campaign and tracking performance to drive growth

Manage logistics in lead generation campaigns (trade shows, sponsorships and speaking engagements, etc.) in assigned regions from start to finish including research (testing and optimizing), booking/contacts, coordinating day-of logistics with local offices, follow-up campaign and tracking performance to drive growth

Manage advertising campaigns (digital and print) in assigned regions including research (testing and optimizing), booking/contacts, content creation, working with the design team and tracking performance to drive growth

Follow up with sales on opportunities and leads generated through marketing events and the qualification process from lead generation activities

Support lead nurture and lead re-engagement programs

Keep a pulse on new and creative opportunities to drive lead generation in assigned territories

Manage schedule and deliverables of assigned campaigns and coordinate with vendors as well as key functions within marketing and sales

Develop, test, and deploy email sends from marketing automation system

Update subscription lists for email marketing and manage targeted invitation lists and automation campaigns in marketing automation system

Track all marketing events and campaigns in CRM system and report on key success metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually (email performance, campaign performance, revenue tracking and pipeline tracking)

Research/monitor local and regional community events and sponsorships and competitor activity

Track and manage all tasks in project management system (Workfront)

Provide support for all other members of the field marketing team and their duties as needed

Provide professional customer service to internal stakeholders and regional contacts to maintain strong relationships in the field

Provide proactive consultative services to the team (internal & external) that are within project scope to drive towards a marketing center of excellence

Some travel may be required within assigned region

Qualifications:
BS/BA degree

Solid understanding of demand generation program creation, execution, measurement, analysis and reporting

Strong understanding and demonstrated proficiency in leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools (Microsoft CRM & ActOn preferred)

Self-motivated “go-getter”, strong-willed, with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can react to changing priorities

Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with successful execution

Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines

Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors/venues to ensure contracts are in scope and on budget

Learns quickly and efficiently and can work both independently and as part of a team

Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel

Working knowledge of event management platforms and tools preferred (Eventbrite, GoToWebinar, Zoom, etc)

Project Management software experience a plus (Workfront preferred)
