The Fiduciary Administrator 2 - Estate Settlement Administration will assist with the termination and final distribution of trust and estate accounts. Administers probate estates and trusts following the death of an existing Wells Fargo client, or upon the appointment of Wells Fargo as a personal representative of a probate estate. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and procedures applicable to the administration of a probate estate or a trust following the death of the beneficiary or decedent. Assists with final distribution of assets and final termination of accounts. Assists team members and other Wells Fargo (WF) partners with the management of relationships with clients, beneficiaries, and their families. Communicates directly with clients, WF Partners and Centers of Influence as well as external resources, such as accountants, attorneys, and other professionals, who are involved in the accounts as part of day to day administration. When appropriate, partners with other Wealth Management professionals to develop additional business and to retain existing business. A Fiduciary Administrator 2 works to create, expand, and service the wealth client relationships while managing risk, creating strong internal partnerships, and providing great client service.

The preferred location for this position is Austin, TX but other locations within the WF footprint will be considered.

Salary range is determined by the location of the job:

TX-Austin: Min: $47,500 Mid: $65,500 Max:$83,800

May be considered for discretionary bonus


Required Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal; or 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal plus one of the following degrees or certifications: BA or higher in Trust & Wealth Management, JD, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (tm) or Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor
