FedEx Ground Delivery Driver / Assistant Operations Manager

Are you a current or former FedEx Ground driver looking for a new opportunity?

We are a new FedEx Ground contractor in the Cincinnati marketplace looking for an experienced driver to be our Lead Driver / Assistant Operations Manager.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual interested in moving into management and with a desire to shape their own future. This hybrid position combines days behind the wheel as a delivery driver as well as days in the terminal as the backup to management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage your FedEx experience to help build a successful contractor business
• Develop a good understanding and familiarity of all routes
• Communicate, coach and mentor other drivers
• Work with management to identify and resolve issues
• Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service
• Must maintain positive relationships with station management, ownership and other team members

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST have FedEx Ground experience (driver, manager, handler, etc)
• MUST be a good communicator with ability to work well with others
• Previous assistant management or direct management (preferred, not required)
• ONE FULL YEAR of on-the-job driving experience
• Valid driver license
• A clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) without excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.
• Good work history
• Clean background and willing to complete a drug screen and physical
• 21 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $950.00 per week

Schedule:

• No nights
• Weekends

Supplemental Pay:

• Safety bonus

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
