Job Description SummaryResponsible for capturing still and/or video for steaming service(s), storage media, or for programming scheduled through OSMC. Also for set-up and storage of camera(s) and lighting for still/video/streaming shoots. Maintain, update and backup digital storage cards and/or mini dv tapes, DVD/CDs.
Additional Information Fall - You must be registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall semester to apply for Student Employment positions; or use your free semester and register for a minimum of 3 credit hours (contact Student Employment for more details).

Essential Functions

Essential FunctionAssist with setup, operation and tear down of cameras and lights for OOSMC scheduled program shoots.
Essential FunctionAssist in preparation of media cards, mini dvs, DVDs and/or CDs and conduct some trainings and meetings, to help other OOSMC volunteer staff.
Essential FunctionAssist in training OOSMC staff in implementation of OOSMC policies and procedures.
Essential FunctionAttend meetings as needed.
Essential FunctionActively assist in OOSMC integrated media projects.
Essential FunctionOther duties as assigned.
Knowledge

Understanding of basic photo/video camera operations.
Understanding of social media.
Familiar with College.
